QUEEN


Madison Pearson is 19 years old and from Ahwahnee, CA. She has been ridding and competing with her horse since she was a young girl in 4-H and FFA. Madison’s hobbies include camping, riding on CRG flag team and barrel racing. She is currently teaching young children how to take care of a horse and ride to their fullest potential. Madison’s love of animals has her considering becoming a vet tech and will be starting classes in the fall. She says what a great honor and opportunity it is be to representing the MRA. They are a rodeo that cares and gives so much back to Veterans and the community. Being a rodeo queen is fulfilling one of her dreams. She hopes that she inspires young girls to chase their dreams and never give up.

PRINCESS


Harley Gilles is the daughter of John Gilles and Michelle Gilles. She has graduated from Kingsburg High School. She is currently working at Tractor Supply Company in Dinuba and will be is attending college. She would like to thank not only her parents, but everyone who supported her in her reign as Mountain Rodeo Association Princess. She loves all the good she gets to do for the sport of rodeo and for other great groups like the Fresno Veterans Hospital and the Central California Veterans Home. She enjoys singing the National Anthem at events near and far.


LITTLE MISS


Mykel Fohn is 13 years old and the daughter of T.J. and Stacy Fohn. Mykel is in the 8th grade and is currently sponsored in the junior division by Lakota Trailers and Best Ever Pads. Riding, showing, competing, and queening are her passions. She hopes to someday compete in Oklahoma City at the AQHA World show in the ranch reining division. Mykel is looking forward to attending Fresno State and trying out for their equestrian team. She plans on pursuing a career that involves inspiring and training future generations of riders and their horses. 

TINY PRINCESS


Madalyn Welton is the daughter of Brack and Kristen Welton. She is an outgoing 7-year-old who currently lives in the Dunlap, CA. She attends second grade at Dunlap Elementary School where her favorite subject is music. When Maddie is not at school she loves spending time outside with her animals, camping with her family, and of course, riding her horse, Luna. Maddie spends her summers swimming on the Reedley Marlins and is looking forward to joining the Dunlap cheer team.  Practicing her horsemanship skills with her fellow royalty friends has been a highlight for Maddie and has helped her grow as a rider. She is excited to be this year’s Mountain Rodeo Association Tiny Princess.
